WSE is built on the ideas, experience, and leadership of our community. Our committees and working groups give members the opportunity to help shape WSE programming, strengthen our community, and bring new ideas to life. Our growth is largely due to the time and talents of our volunteer board and committee members. Like you, they juggle busy careers with their home and personal lives.

WSE Committees:

Events Committee: Helps plan and execute WSE events, including venues, logistics, attendee experience, networking formats, volunteers, sponsors, and day-of support.

Brand Series & Programming Committee: Helps develop WSE’s signature series, identify topics and speakers, shape content, and build a consistent programming calendar around the WSE brand.

Communications & Brand: Manages WSE messaging, social media, newsletters, website content, storytelling, member spotlights, and brand consistency.

Sponsorship & Partnerships: Builds relationships with energy companies, professional organizations, universities, sponsors, and strategic partners. This can also support fundraising.

Career Catalyst Working Group: Helps in product development, technology, career development, recruiting, and digital platforms to help us design and launch WSE’s Career Catalyst platform.
